1) What is Neu Studios?
Neu Studios is a resortwear brand that was originally created as a product development project in fashion school. We have since traversed into the real world and into your closets.
Our mission is to create wardrobe staples that make you want to go new places and take our clothes with you.
2) How is Neu Studios different from other fashion/retail brands?
Because we are in the Philippines, we are focused on designing clothes (yes, from scratch) for the hot and humid tropical weather. Our designs are meant to be worn on vacation trips or to cute afternoon dates around Manila.
We are aware that fashion is one of the biggest contributors to pollution, which is why we decided to make all of our clothes made-to-order. This way, not only do we avoid excess stock and mitigate dumping fashion remnants into landfills, but we also ensure fair pricing for the customers by maintaining the same prices all year round, and fair wages for the Neu Studios team by not cutting back on profit margins.
Unlike other stores that use heavily branded packaging, we opted to use unbranded paper packaging for our shipments so that you can re-use them for wrapping special gifts to your friends.
3) Where do the clothes come from?
From conceptualizing designs, to sketching illustrations, to sampling patters, to prototyping, to production-- everything happens in a coastal town down south: Bacoor, Cavite. We have 1 designer and a small team of 2-3 mananahi's who sew all of our pieces in the comfort of their own homes.
